The golden spoon- Good manners matter

On April 5th, fourth A students received the recognition in the «Golden spoon» contest for their good behavior and great organization during the lunchtime.

The Golden Spoon Award is an elementary section competition to reward classrooms that demonstrate positive behavior in the lunchroom.  This monthly award is given out to one classroom in grades 2-5 that continually follows the basic lunchroom agreements: eat neatly, talk quietly, stay in their seat, clean tables, avoid electronical devices. The winning classroom is announced at the end of every month. In additional, the winning classroom will enjoy a Jean Day week.

The golden spoon award has the purpose to challenge and motivate the use of good manners and eat in a quiet and nice environment. Good habits and order contribute in our physical and emotional health and help students to acquire and demonstrate responsible behavior.

Congratulations to fourth A students and their self-contained teacher, Stephanie Guinand, for their effort and positive attitude and we hope they enjoy their Jean Day week. We hope that next month we have more winners.
