On January 24th, our Pre-K students had a blast exploring emotions in a fun and interactive way! We started the class with a short video about feelings in the auditorium. Afterward, we had a great discussion about the characters’ emotions and how they expressed them. Then, each student got an iPad to capture their friends’ and teachers’ emotional faces – from happy 😊 to surprised 😲, sad 😢, and angry 😠. It was a moment full of laughter and creativity!
At the end of the class, our little learners proudly presented their pictures and described the emotions they had captured, practicing their English vocabulary along the way! This activity was the perfect way to kick off our Unit of Inquiry «How We Express Ourselves,» sparking thoughtful reflection among the children. They were curious, reflective, and deep thinkers as they explored their own emotions and the emotions of others.
It was such a fun and impactful experience, where the students not only learned about feelings but also practiced using English meaningfully.

¡Una Experiencia de Aprendizaje Divertida en Prejardín!
¡El pasado 24 de enero, nuestros niños de Prejardín se divirtieron muchísimo explorando las emociones de una manera interactiva y divertida!
Comenzamos la clase viendo un video sobre los sentimientos en el auditorio; después, tuvimos una excelente charla sobre las emociones que los personajes mostraron y cómo las expresaron. Luego, cada niño recibió un iPad para capturar las caras emocionales de sus compañeros y maestros: desde feliz 😊 hasta sorprendido 😲, triste 😢 y enojado 😠.
¡Fue un momento lleno de risas y creatividad!
Al final de la clase, nuestros pequeños presentaron sus fotos y describieron las emociones que habían capturado, practicando su vocabulario en inglés. Esta actividad fue la motivadora perfecta para nuestra Unidad de Indagación «Cómo Nos Expresamos», provocando una reflexión profunda entre los niños. Estuvieron muy curiosos, reflexivos y pensativos mientras exploraban sus propias emociones y las de los demás.
Esta fue una experiencia divertida y significativa, en la que los niños no solo aprendieron sobre las emociones, sino que también practicaron inglés de manera práctica.
