In recognition of their performance in the summative assessment «Living Universe» of sixth grade, 3 groups of students were invited to a class on the Development of Scientific Thought by Professor David Tovar at the University of La Sabana. This interdisciplinary work of Geography, Biology, and Technology allowed them to design and build a robotic prototype whose objective was to geologically analyze celestial bodies in the universe to find possibilities of life on other planets or their moons. Our students had the opportunity to exhibit their projects at the University, discuss their experiences, attend a space geology exercise, and enjoy an astronomical observation session.
