On April 13th, we had an Easter celebration in our school. Easter is the time to celebrate Jesus’ victory and the new life He gives. For this occasion, English teachers from preschool to high school organized different activities to explain to the students that lots of cultures and faiths have different traditions and that is why we live in a multicultural society, Through the different activities done in the classes, students learned that it is important to value and acknowledge other people’s traditions and beliefs, just as we appreciate them acknowledging ours.

En abril 13, tuvimos una celebración de Pascua en nuestro colegio; La Pascua es un tiempo para celebrar la victoria de Jesús y su resurrección. En esta ocasión, todos los docentes de Inglés, desde preescolar hasta bachillerato, organizaron diferentes actividades para explicarles a los estudiantes que muchas culturas y clases de fe tienen diferentes tradiciones y por eso vivimos en una sociedad multicultural. A través de las diversas actividades realizadas en clase, los estudiantes aprendieron que es importante valorar y reconocer las tradiciones y creencias de otras personas, así como nosotros apreciamos que otros reconozcan las nuestras.
