On the morning of May 28th, fifth-grade students presented their PEP exhibition corresponding to unit six, «Where we are in place and time». According to the assistant’s comments, students demonstrated a profile of inquirers by exploring the connections between past knowledge and its contrast with the present. They also stood out as communicators by sharing their skills in their second language and as thinkers by presenting a display of ideas on how to apply this knowledge to impact future generations.
During the event, students, families, and teachers enjoyed the opportunity to travel through time with the exhibitors to the greatness and knowledge of ancient civilizations. The significance of deities, great inventions and constructions of the past, agriculture, the role of women, medicine, and politics resonated in our present and manifested in grand legacies, such as architectural projects, art pieces, videos, and visual resources.
The exhibition was a showcase of students’ conceptual and investigative abilities and an opportunity to explore pathways towards the future throughout their knowledge and creativity.

Durante la mañana del 28 de mayo, los estudiantes de quinto grado presentaron su exposición PEP correspondiente a la unidad seis: “Dónde nos encontramos en el tiempo y en el espacio”.
Los estudiantes demostraron un perfil de indagadores al explorar las conexiones entre el conocimiento del pasado y su contraste con el presente. También se destacaron como comunicadores al compartir con la audiencia que son ciudadanos del mundo, expresando sus aprendizajes en español, inglés y francés. Nuestros alumnos fueron creativos al presentar un despliegue de ideas sobre cómo aplicar estos conocimientos para impactar a futuras generaciones.
Durante el evento, estudiantes, familias y maestros disfrutaron de la oportunidad de viajar en el tiempo con los expositores hacia la grandeza y el conocimiento de las civilizaciones antiguas. La trascendencia de las deidades, las grandes invenciones y construcciones del pasado, la agricultura, el papel de la mujer, la medicina y la política resonaron en nuestro presente y se manifestaron en grandiosos legados, como proyectos arquitectónicos, piezas de arte, videos y recursos visuales.
La exposición fue una muestra de la capacidad conceptual e investigativa de los estudiantes, así como una oportunidad para vislumbrar el futuro.
