Con el fin de brindarles a nuestros estudiantes un proceso de orientación vocacional y profesional de calidad que cuente con herramientas actualizadas y de vanguardia, el equipo de la Unidad de Proyección Profesional (UPP) tuvo la oportunidad de asistir al Regional Forum dirigido por IC3 (International Career and College Counseling) llevado a cabo en nuestro país, el pasado martes 8 de abril.
IC3 es un movimiento global que busca promover la existencia de procesos de orientación vocacional y profesional en los colegios de todo el mundo. Esta experiencia, fue parte del programa Empower, una iniciativa internacional diseñada para fortalecer el rol de los college counselors y transformar la manera en que acompañamos a nuestros estudiantes en su proceso de orientación vocacional y universitaria.
A lo largo del día se tuvo la oportunidad de asistir a talleres, conferencias y sesiones prácticas en donde se profundizaron en el rol de las familias y del psicólogo vocacional, así como en conocer herramientas de consejería, estrategias de comunicación con familias y estudiantes y demás temas de gran relevancia en su labor.
Para la UPP, esta experiencia ha sido un paso importante en su compromiso por brindar a cada estudiante un acompañamiento significativo y personalizado en su camino hacia la educación superior.

Regional Forum – IC3 2025
In order to provide our students with a high-quality vocational and professional guidance process that has updated and cutting-edge tools, the team of the Career and University Counseling Unit had the opportunity to attend the Regional Forum led by IC3 (International Career and College Counseling) held in our country last Tuesday, April 8.
IC3 is a global movement that seeks to promote the existence of vocational and career counseling processes in schools around the world. This experience was part of the Empower program, an international initiative designed to strengthen the role of college counselors and transform the way we accompany our students in their professional and university guidance process.
Throughout the day we were able to attend workshops, conferences and practical sessions where the role of families and the vocational psychologist were discussed in depth, as well as to learn about counseling tools, communication strategies with families and students, and other topics of great relevance in their work.
For the Career and University Counseling Unit, this experience has been an important step in its commitment to provide each student with a meaningful and personalized accompaniment on their way to higher education.
