Thanksgiving at Colombo Gales School

From preschool to eleventh grade, Thanksgiving is one of the most special celebrations at Colombo Gales School. No matter our beliefs, income, religion or appearance, it is an opportunity to learn about our origins, North American culture, to open our minds, and especially to say thank you for all those moments, people (classmates, parents, teachers, maintenance and cafeteria staff at school, etc.) and experiences that have turned us into better people. Besides, for the sake of keeping the tradition, we shared some homemade food and snacks as a symbol of love and fraternity among us. Three languages were involved to express these grateful feelings (Spanish, English and French). We really had a great time.
