Este 30 de noviembre de 2022, el Colegio Colombo Gales se vistió de alegría y compartir. Durante la jornada del miércoles se llevó a cabo nuestra tradicional celebración de acción de gracias, donde todos los estudiantes, docentes y directivos expresaron su más profundo agradecimiento a todo nuestro personal de casino y servicios esenciales, quienes a diario realizan una gran labor dejando su corazón y toda su dedicación en cada tarea para que nuestro colegio sea ese lugar mágico y divertido en el que aprendemos cada día. Por esto, se entregó a cada uno de ellos una ancheta navideña como agradecimiento.
En el marco de esta misma celebración tuvimos un gran desfile con diversas temáticas como: anime, navidad, pavos y vegetales, Disney, peregrinos y nativos, donde nuestros estudiantes, docentes y directivos desfilaron sus atuendos y compartieron frases y poemas. También, tuvimos intervenciones musicales a cargo de nuestra banda musical CCG.
Esta maravillosa celebración nos demuestra el gran corazón que nuestra familia Colombo Galesa tiene y que a diario practicamos el atributo del perfil de la comunidad IB “solidarios”, mostrando empatía, compasión y respeto, demostrando nuestro compromiso de servir y actuar para hacer una diferencia positiva en la vida de otros y en el mundo a nuestro alrededor.

This November 30, 2022, the Colombo Gales school dressed in joy and sharing. During this day, our traditional Thanksgiving celebration was held, where all the students, teachers, and administrators expressed their deepest gratitude to all our casino and essential services staff who do a great job every day, leaving their hearts and all their dedication to each task so that our school is that magical and fun place where we learn every day. For this, each of them was given a Christmas present as a way to say “thank you”.
Within the framework of this same celebration, we had a great parade with various themes such as: anime, Christmas, turkeys and vegetables, Disney, pilgrims and natives, where our students, teachers and administrators paraded their outfits and shared phrases and poems. Also, we had musical interventions by our CCG musical band.
This wonderful celebration shows how big-hearted our Colombo Gales family is and how we practice the attributes from the profile of the IB Community “caring”, showing empathy, compassion and respect, demonstrating our commitment to serve and taking action to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in the world around us.
