WILL GO- WEEKEND IMMERSION IN LANGUAGE AND LEISURE “Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.” – Mr. Rogers Last weekend, March 25th and 26th, students from Transition to ninth grade had the opportunity to participate in WILL GO immersion camp where they shared time with 12 English/French native speakers who led a myriad of activities to promote the use of the second and foreign language though different games. Throughout the weekend, students participated in team activities, games, and a campfire which allowed them to acquire and strengthen not only the language abilities but also communication and social skills. We expect to continue having this type of activities that fortify our bilingual culture in the school.
